Jeanne,

We share in the loss of our parents the same week and both were teachers. We have to take comfort in the many lives they touched, some of which we'll never know. Plus we have many great memories. I've been thinking of you often.

We was sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. Death may cast a shadow over you as you go about your daily life. Your love one’s death brings you face-to-face with the fact that they are gone too soon. While you call to mind the happy memories, you may also remember the enormity of the loss. But, "Do not let your hearts be troubled". (John 14:27) May you find comfort as the "the last enemy", death will be done away with. (1 Corinthians 15:25, 26). Let this time be a tribute to their wonderful life. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
